Potty Training Girls

I am wondering what people have done for potty training and when they started with their girls. With Mason we waited until he was 3 and used the book Potty Training in Less Than a Day and it worked great. I have heard that girls are easier and can be trained sooner than boys. Anyone have any suggestions? She will be 2 this month.

I have no advice- I only hope you post if you find something that works. We are in your same boat right now. We thought it would be easier and earlier withKea but so far, no such luck. She can and does it- before her bath every night- but the rest of the day, a diaper is more convenient for her. I'm taking a break right now and will try again in a few weeks.

Sorry, no advice yet! Good luck though and you'll have to let me know how it goes!

Pray for patience. I'm not kidding! I'm not one to give advice on this subject. Good Luck!

I was about to ask you about what you were doing! Ava has no clue yet! When Edyn was Ava's age, she was potty training herself by now . . . . . I think I am okay with diapers for a while though. Its sure is easier on me . . . Ahhhhh, always thinking of myself! Of course!

Hey, with Kassia, we started about when she was two and I bought her a princess potty, got a princess movie for her and then spent one or two days just giving her lots of water, watching the movie and going to the bathroom in her potty. Then she got the idea of going using the bathroom. We then moved it to the bathroom. My biggest problem is that she would say that she had to go, and then not want to sit there long enough, so she loves crakcers so I would give her a cracker that she had to eat on the potty. That worked really well (she is a slow eater). After about a week of really working on it, she got it. I hope this gives you some ideas and helps. Good Luck.
