What is Your Favorite Book?

Last night I was at the library and I was having trouble finding a book. I need some recommendations. I have so many books I love, here are a few....

(I love all John Grisham books)

What are some of the books you have loved?

Sink Reflections is one of my favorites but its not fiction. Have you heard of Twilight? I have if it if you want to borrow it. Nicole just got done reading it. I haven't read it yet. I'm trying to get a couple of things done first.

I love anything by Marian Keyes, Jodi Picoult and Pat Conroy.
Right now I am reading Wicked. It is Wizard of Oz from the point of view of the Wicked Witch!
And, my all time favorite is To Kill a Mockingbird.

Tara,

Good to see you blogging again! I've just finished two awesome parenting books which have revolutionized the Mead household. The author is John Rosemond and the books I've read are The Six Point Plan for Raising Happy Healthy Children and A Family of Value. I'm not even exaggerating! They have changed my life, run, don't walk to the library and check those bad boys out!

I've also heard Twilight is good but haven't read it myself. I also enjoyed the book March. It's the book about Little Women from the persective of the dad, really very good. Toodles.

I LOVE The Hiding Place, as well. You've already read Into Thin Air...try Touching The Void (one of my personal faves) I also just finished Twilight in two days, so give it a go! Very fun book...almost made me believe in vampires!

everyone's talking about Twilight!! I've been reading a lot lately but I think I'm kind of a book snob--I usually don't LOVE them for some reason. Did you ever read "Crossing To Safety?" I meant to send it to you but I don't think I ever did. It's by Wallace Stegner but the friendship in the story reminded me of our Hawaii days. I really liked it.

I was so happy to see some updates!! Come visit us!!

I was going to suggest Twilight too. all my aunts and girl cousins have read it and liked it. I also love the Kingdom and the Crown series, I think by Gerrald Lund.

I saw Cheryl's comment about Twilight. I was the same way. My cousin was reading it and I thought it sounded so dumb and there was no way I was going to read it.But then my mom brought it too e and I turned it down at first, but I must say I really liked it. It is a very original idea, and the writing is quite good. I think everyone is talking about it also because the author went to BYU - so its like a small town mormon thing. But I wouldn't pass it over.
