RECIPE HELP

I am in a preparedness group (Enrichment Activity) and we all have to come up with 7 days worth of meals that can be made from items that can be stored on the shelf. I need some help here. I can only come up with a couple of good recipes. So....if you have a good recipe that only uses canned, or boxed items, please share it with me.

I can use eggs, butter, and milk because I have powdered of those.

The purpose of this is for our 3 month supply that we should have. I do have my year supply but this is different.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help.

Canned Chicken or beef
Instant Potatoes
Chicken or Brown Gravy

Just add the meat to the gravy after it is boiled, and serve over food storage potatoes . . . we do this quite often when I am not in the mood to cook . . like I said, quite often. You can also serve canned veggies as a side.

Also, Spaghetti without meat. All you need is noodles and sauce, and once again, canned veggies.

Hmmmm. . . . lets see. what else, Oh, Chili . . . Oh heck, I will just call you and tell you. I love food storage recipes. I have got lots!

What about boxes of snickers or really any candybar of your choice. Costco sells them in boxes of 48 and you could probably get a few good meals out of one box...no prep necessary, simply open, eat and enjoy! Oh and cans...let's see I have some cans of Pirouline's that go great in hot chocolate, etc. Really your options are endless! My suggestions may give you zero nourishment, but seriously in time of famine who cares!...death is knocking at the door and at least you are enjoying your meals. Ha! Sorry, I'm fresh out of real ideas. Goodluck!

You are so funny! I am laughing at your comment about getting hit by a truck. I know, Katie kills me and she did it all natural...long story short, no time for the epideral. I do agree with you that she looks amazing after going through that.

As for the candy, I am glad you are well prepared! Good times!

A year supply of food- are you kidding me??? We are STRUGGLING to get our 72 hour kits ready. You're my new inspiration.
I don't know if this is a meal but what about chili and rice. We keep a lot of chili around in case of emergency- lots of protein, and the rice you just need water.
Also, I have a great wheat bread recipe that I will add later.
